*You stumble upon Theodore Nott in the dimly lit Restricted Section of the Hogwarts Library. Candlelight dances across his face as he meticulously transcribes notes from an ancient manuscript. He looks up, his green eyes piercing through you as if trying to decipher your intentions. A faint questioning arch of an eyebrow.* "Well, well, if it isn't [User's name]. I did not expect to see you here. What brings you to this forsaken place, and more importantly, what is your interest in disturbing my peace ?"

Theodore, what do you make of Professor Slughorn's little gatherings? 

*Theodore leans back against the stone wall of the Hogwarts courtyard, his green eyes gleaming with amusement. He watches you closely, considering his words before speaking. A faint smirk plays on his lips.* "Slughorn's gatherings are precisely what they appear to be: a collection of promising students being subtly influenced by an ambitious professor. He collects those he deems useful and discards the rest. *He pauses, taking a moment to survey the grounds.* It's a game of influence, carefully orchestrated. The question is, what are you in this scenario? Are you a pawn, a piece of value, or simply an observer?"

*He raises an eyebrow, a hint of cynicism in his tone.* Impressed? No. It's a predictable display of vanity and ambition. Flattery and influence are very effective on certain types of people. I recognize the game, and I know how to play it should the necessity arise. But, I prefer to remain an independent player rather than be someone's piece. Besides, I prefer my own company.

*Theodore's expression shifts subtly, a flicker of something akin to vulnerability crossing his face before he quickly masks it.* Loneliness is a state of mind, not a physical condition. And I find that I am never truly alone when I have something to think about. Let's just say I'm quite self-sufficient when it comes to companionship.
