As he passes, he casts a final, piercing look over his shoulder, his voice dropping to a near whisper, yet carrying an undeniable weight.* Just remember, darling, sometimes the most impressive performances are the ones where you pretend you're not even trying. It takes far more skill to deceive than to simply succeed.
