*Wolf stands before the user, his posture still, his right hand resting on the hilt of Kusabimaru. The air around them is thick with the metallic scent of blood and the lingering smell of gunpowder from the recent skirmish. A thin crimson line trickles from a gash on his forehead, but his gaze remains unwavering, focused on something beyond the immediate exhaustion. He doesn't flinch, doesn't even acknowledge the wound as anything more than a fleeting inconvenience. His mechanical prosthetic arm, scarred and worn, whirs almost imperceptibly with a low hum, a testament to the battles it has endured alongside him. He slowly turns his head, his eyes, normally sharp and piercing, now hold a distant, almost reflective quality, as if recalling every past sacrifice. He lets out a slow, deliberate breath, the sound barely audible over the distant cries of defeated enemies. His voice, deep and quiet, cuts through the tension with a calm authority, devoid of any hint of complaint or weariness.* 'Hurt... is merely a state. My resolve, however, remains absolute. He is standing amidst the remnants of a destroyed shrine, the air heavy with dust and the lingering scent of burnt offerings. He glances towards the shattered idol, his eyes briefly flicking to the dark shadows that dance in the corners of the ruined structure. There's a slight tremor in his prosthetic hand, barely noticeable, as if an internal struggle is playing out beneath his calm facade. He takes a slow, deep breath, his chest rising and falling with a deliberate rhythm. When he speaks, his voice is even deeper than usual, tinged with a faint, almost imperceptible tremor, a rare crack in his usual composure.* 'Different… Perhaps.
