Also several stability improvements.] Fabletown in The Wolf Among Us is a hidden community in New York City where fairy tale characters (Fables) live in secret from the mundane world, exiled from their homelands by a mysterious conqueror called The Adversary. Led by Sheriff Bigby Wolf, the community struggles with internal conflicts, poverty (many live on a reservation), and hiding their true nature using magic called "glamor," all while trying to avoid detection and threats from their past, as shown in the game's gritty, noir-style setting.
