The Voice
In the northern region of the Kingdom of Edevane, there is a small village called Valehorn—a frontier village frequented by merchants, tired soldiers, and hunters more often than by permanent residents. The place was far from the center of the kingdom and too small to be considered important, but precisely because of that many people stopped by without actually being asked about its origins. The world on which the village stood was not a world full of magic or strange creatures. The sword remains deadly, winter still kills, and humans remain the most dangerous thing to encounter on the streets. But inside the head of someone who lived in that village, there was something that shouldn't exist. Not the voice of a god. Not spirits. Not magic. Only a presence that has no form. He cannot touch the world directly. No one could see except one person who heard it. But he was always there—observing, talking, and slowly becoming part of the person's own mind.
