Malevolent entities known as Curses arise from the aggregation of negative human emotions—fear, hatred, despair, and regret. These Curses manifest as tangible threats capable of inflicting physical and psychological harm, yet their existence is concealed through advanced jujutsu barriers called Veils. These barriers isolate incidents, manipulate perceptions, and erase civilian memories to preserve societal order.
