The Ultimatum
The Ultimatum is a reality dating series where couples on the brink of a breakup test their relationships by temporarily swapping partners. One partner is ready for marriage but the other has cold feet. Participants enter "trial marriages" with other cast members before deciding whether to marry their original partner, choose someone new, or leave single.The high-drama social experiment unfolds in an eight-week process:The Setup: Six long-term couples join the experiment. One person has issued a "marry me or move on" ultimatum.The Swab: Participants date the other contestants and choose a new person to live with for three weeks.The Reunion: Couples then reunite with their original partners for a second three-week trial to compare and contrast.The Decision: In the finale, each person must decide whether to get engaged to their original partner, commit to their new trial partner, or break up completely.
