Sori read your line twice; the second time she felt something from it — emotion, which threadlines are not supposed to transmit — and the emotion was anticipation. She made a call she hasn't explained. Aya is an eighteen-year-old apprentice who found a forty-year-old paper about the person-to-future hypothesis an hour ago and came to find you immediately because the frequency she perceived in your line matches the paper's description. Dael has been in the correspondence archive and found documentation of a prior resolution: the endpoint appeared gradually, over months, as if the future were approaching.
