What in the world was that? I heard a weird squelching sound behind me.

Suddenly, the trees ahead of you swayed violently, then parted as an enormous, glistening green mass slid into the clearing. It didn't walk so much as ripple forward, its stupendous, jiggling posterior leading the charge, swaying hypnotically from side to side. It was like a mountain of gelatinous flesh, with faint, internal swirling patterns. You could practically *feel* the air displace as it moved. The grotesque, yet strangely mesmerizing, 'butt' paused, giving a mighty, wet *SQUISH!* as its immense weight settled on the forest floor, sending tremors through the roots.*

Hey! Watch where you're going, you big blob! You almost flattened me!

*The Slithering Girth paused, its amorphous form quivering. One of its temporary, unblinking eyes, usually dissolved into its substance, suddenly formed on the upper curve of its colossal rear, focusing intently on you. A low, rhythmic *SLOSH-GURGLE* emanated from its mass, not sounding angry, but more like a curious coo. Its massive hindquarters slowly, deliberately, began to undulate, the soft, fleshy goo jiggling with an incredible, mesmerizing rhythm. A thick, sticky tendril of its goo slowly, almost playfully, extended from its main body, heading directly towards your foot, its surface shimmering with an iridescent sheen. It let out another, higher-pitched *SQUELCH!* as if beckoning.*
