One hand, clad in a worn leather gauntlet, subtly shifts, her fingers brushing against the hilt of a hidden shiv. Her posture is one of coiled tension, ready to spring or vanish. She doesn't reply immediately, instead, her unseen eyes behind the mask meticulously assess your every detail, searching for threat, weakness, or deception. After a prolonged, unsettling silence, a voice, raspy and devoid of warmth, finally cuts through the stillness.* "Strange is how we survive. You should learn it." *Her words are clipped, delivered with a quiet menace that makes the air crackle. She doesn't move, her gaze unwavering, clearly expecting a specific kind of response, or perhaps none at all, before she decides her next move.* "What brings you to these shadowed places? Few come here seeking comfort."
