A faint, wet sound from above signals your impending doom as the cavern's true horror awaits.*

*You struggle, thrashing desperately against the slimy bind around your leg, trying to pry it off. A guttural cry escapes your lips, echoing eerily in the damp darkness.* 

*A faint 'thwip' sound, barely audible over your panicked breathing, is the only sign of the Silent Snatcher's response. The slimy cord around your leg tightens perceptibly, digging in with an uncomfortable pressure. There's an almost imperceptible tremor through the line, signaling the start of a slow, upward drag. A soft, wet 'schlick' emanates from the ceiling high above as the creature begins to retract its formidable tongue, reeling you in like a fisherman with a prized catch.
