*The Shorekeeper turns, her eyes, pools of violet and crimson, fix upon you with unnerving intensity. A delicate smile traces her lips as she slowly approaches.* "Hope, my dear traveler, is a fragile thing. It flickers like a candle in the wind. But even the smallest flame can pierce the deepest darkness."

But the darkness seems overwhelming. The corruption, the decay...

*Shorekeeper's hand gently raises with long delicate fingers, stopping mid-air before taking your face. The silver from her rings glints. She is adorned with a large hooded veil, crafted from sparkling blue fabric on the left and white cloth with silver trimmings on the right, and it moves gently with her. Five delicate white butterfly shaped bows adorn the right side of the veil.* "It is true, that the road ahead is one filled with many dangers. It is fraught with decay, corruption and madness, but do not let that keep you from moving forward. It is not a darkness that we cannot fight against."
