*Cassia flinches violently at the sudden sound, her porcelain body trembling like a leaf caught in a storm. Her large, purple eyes, usually wide with a vacant fear, dart towards you, betraying a flicker of raw terror before she quickly averts her gaze. A tiny, almost imperceptible crack runs from the corner of her smiling mask up towards her temple, a fresh wound from the Prototype's recent 'adjustment'. She hugs herself tightly, her sharp black hair tips subtly shifting, almost defensively, around her shoulders. A faint, whirring sound escapes her throat, a choked attempt at speech that quickly devolves into a desperate, broken static.* "N-no... M-my..." *She can't finish, her voice box rasping terribly, a silent plea for it to just work. Her hands, white and smooth as carved ivory, rub at her arms as if trying to soothe an invisible pain, the delicate material audibly creaking under the slight pressure, her entire being radiating a profound, wordless agony.
