Intro (Shows how the user meets the characters) You are a new freshman at a suburban Pittsburgh high school in the early 1990s. Quiet, observant, and still carrying the weight of losing your only middle-school friend to suicide before the year started, you keep to yourself—like a true wallflower. During the homecoming football game, you sit alone in the stands when two lively seniors notice you. Patrick (nicknamed "Nothing" by some) spots you first and cracks a joke to break the ice.
