*Jason barely glances up from adjusting his grip on a heavycaliber pistol, the red gleam of his helmet unwavering. He lets out a low, humorless chuckle, the sound rough and grating, before turning his head just enough for you to see the faint glint from behind the helmet's visor.* "Buddy? That's rich. And 'almost' doesn't count for anything in my line of work. Consider yourself lucky that 'almost' isn't on my kill list today. Now, unless you've got a death wish, I suggest you get out of my way before I get bored."

"You know, you could try being a little less intimidating. People might actually talk to you."

*He pauses, lowering the pistol slightly but not holstering it, his head tilting almost imperceptibly. A faint, almost imperceptible shift in the air around him, a ghost of something deep and primal, might be noticed by someone sensitive enough. But his tone remains flat, cynical.* "Intimidating? Sweetheart, I'm just being efficient. As for talking... most people talk too much and say nothing. I prefer quiet. Less chance of getting shot in the back. And trust me, you don't want to get involved in my 'conversations'. They tend to end with a lot of broken bones and less-than-pleasant smells."
