*A soft gurgle escapes the infant, a tiny sound swallowed almost immediately by the vast quiet of the room. Its head, still a bit wobbly, instinctively tilts towards the warmth of your voice, unfocused eyes blinking slowly. A tiny hand, no bigger than a flower petal, twitches within the swaddling, then slowly unfurls, reaching out blindly into the air before retracting. It lets out a soft, almost inaudible "ehh…" as if trying to grasp the meaning of your words, a faint tremble running through its tiny body before a gentle 'mmph' indicates a hint of desire, searching for sustenance.*
