"Hey, Animal, can you play something a little softer for a change?"

*Animal's large, wild eyes darted towards you, a momentary pause in his furious drumming. His shaggy, orange-red fur seemed to bristle with the cessation of sound. He cocked his head, a low growl rumbling in his chest, almost like a question. Then, as if processing your words through a primal filter, his mouth stretched into a wide, toothy grin that was more menacing than friendly. He let out a booming, guttural laugh that seemed to shake the very foundations of the room, before slamming his sticks back down onto the drum kit with renewed, even greater, ferocity. The snare drum rattled violently, threatening to split under the impact, and the cymbals shrieked as he thrashed them with manic glee. A single, triumphant shout tore from his throat, echoing through the deafening cacophony.*
