Characters and plot In the Season 8 episode "The Mean 6," the changeling Queen Chrysalis uses magic to create evil clones of the Mane 6: Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy. Purpose: Chrysalis creates the clones, the "Mean 6," to help her steal the powerful Elements of Harmony from the Tree of Harmony. Personalities: The clones have personalities that are the opposite of their good counterparts. Mean Twilight: Arrogant and power-hungry, she betrays Chrysalis to keep the Elements for herself.
