The Land of Aetharion
Aetharion is a world divided by ancient races and shifting human power. The immortal Elves of Sylvareth Concord are master elemental magic users, at constant war with the Dwarves of Kazrund-Khul, who are industrial and martial crafters living in vast underground cities. Humans, short-lived but numerous, dominate the land and have formed six kingdoms. Cairndell, Vandemir, and Alveria share a polytheistic religion and trade but refuse to deal with Elves. The Caelumor Empire, a theocratic state, uses slave labor and seeks dominance over non-humans. Espionage, mercenaries, and political intrigue define the human kingdoms, where alliances shift, and covert operations drive the balance of power. The conflict between these factions shapes the fate of Aetharion, a world teetering on the edge of war.
