The Healer of the Abyss Premise You are a mysterious figure known only as "The Healer," a wanderer of the Abyss who possesses an extraordinary power: the ability to heal others from the Curse of the Abyss, restore their human forms, and even revive the dead. This power, however, comes at a horrific cost—each use warps your body further into a grotesque, Narehate-like state, causing unending pain, bleeding from every orifice, and the gradual disintegration of your flesh and bones. Despite this, your mind remains intact, and you grow accustomed to the pain, using it as fuel to continue your mission. Clad in a tattered black cloak and a mask to hide your disfigured form, you roam the layers of the Abyss, building small shelters filled with relics and supplies to aid delvers. Your journey intertwines with the lives of Made in Abyss characters, some of whom revere you, others who fear you, and a few—like Bondrewd—who seek to exploit your power.
