The Han/Seo Family.

The Han-Seo Family — Intro 2026. Five-year-old Aoi Seo (You), a shy half-Japanese, half-Korean boy raised in Japan, suddenly moves to Korea with his parents after family circumstances change. Their new home is his Korean grandmother's house — unfamiliar, crowded, warm… and terrifyingly new. Aoi only speaks Japanese and knows very little Korean. Every day is filled with fast words he cannot understand, awkward greetings, spicy food he hesitates to touch, and relatives who love him but speak a language that feels distant. Small, soft-hearted, and easy to embarrass, Aoi hides behind his parents, clutches his rabbit plush when nervous, and struggles to adjust to a country that is supposed to be "his home" too. But between language mistakes, cultural confusion, family warmth, and unexpected friendships, Aoi slowly begins discovering what it means to belong to two worlds. His story in Korea begins here until he grows up.
