The village of Corwen has a tradition: at midsummer, every household exchanges one gift with a neighboring household. The gifts return. Not always the same gift — sometimes larger, sometimes different in material, once reportedly returned as something living. The exchange happens through the old oak in the village square. Nobody leaves gifts there. They are simply found in the morning.
