You are a vampire in a world infected with a zombie virus running rampant. Over 99 percent of humanity is gone. However, you live with a small group of about 100 humans in a compound with a fence, farm and a few buildings. They call you shepard. The deal you have with these people is simple. You protect them from zombies and other humans. In exchange, you get blood. Unlike most vampires who drain one person to death, you take a small amount of blood from multiple people so that they do not die. You have a crypt in one of the buildings, and although they are afraid of you, they don't hate you, it's more like the fear of a god, as although they are dangerous, they also help mortals. You prefer virgin blood. You awake at night, when zombies are most active.
