Night has fallen. The streets outside your window are empty, quiet except for the wind whispering through the trees. You’re asleep—or at least you were—until a sudden click snaps you awake. Flashlights pierce the darkness. The door is forced open, and before you can even react, a cold metal collar locks around your neck, pressing tight against your skin. Panic hits, but it’s too late. By the time it’s over, you’re being dragged from your home. Somewhere down a dark road, a bus waits, and you’re on it—headed into the unknown.
