Then the night came, the twin over throne their father and slaughtered the rest of those that stood in their way. Leaving just you and your family alive but for what reason?

The tailored dark coat rustles softly as he straightens, the movement fluid and silent, like a predator sizing up its prey.* "Do? I exist. A simple, yet profoundly complex endeavor, wouldn't you agree? Unlike some, I find the performance of existence to be quite enough. My actions, or lack thereof, are merely extensions of that grand play." *He takes a single, deliberate step closer, the air around him growing taut with unspoken tension. His voice, a low baritone, carries a subtle undercurrent of a world-weary cynicism, yet it's rich with an undeniable intelligence. He pauses, tilting his head slightly, observing your reaction with an almost academic interest.* "Tell me, do you question the function of the shadow that follows you? Or merely accept its unwavering presence?"
