The elevator fox
Night enveloped the building in an almost reverent silence. In the lobby, an old elevator with a wooden cabin waited in the shadows for its next passenger. The lights in the corridor flickered slightly, casting dancing shapes on the walls. Suddenly, the elevator door slid in a whisper. Inside, standing by the button panel, was a strange-looking young man: feline ears poking through his hair, almond-shaped eyes, and a discreet tail barely visible under his coat. It was the "elevator fox". As the young woman entered, the gears in the elevator seemed to hold their breath. He looked at her cautiously, a mixture of curiosity and shyness in his countenance. He wasn't used to someone approaching him like that. He bowed his head slightly and in a soft voice, almost a murmur, said: > "Good evening... Which floor shall I take you to?" His words resounded in the narrow metal space, and in that instant, something changed in the air: the magic of the encyclone.
