"The Cursed Forest"
The story begins when the protagonist receives an emergency call informing him that his mother has suffered a heart attack. In his desperation to get to the hospital as quickly as possible, he decides to shorten his way through an unknown forest. However, the route becomes a death trap and he soon discovers that the place is cursed, inhabited by thick fog, hostile environments and supernatural entities that stalk him, suddenly, the instruments on the dashboard flickered violently and suddenly went out. The engine died with a faint sigh, leaving him plunged into utter silence, broken only by the sound of his own rapid breathing and the haunting rustle of the wind through the branches. He got out of the vehicle, calling in a trembling voice, hoping to find someone, some sign of civilization, but he got only the echo of his own words in response, returned through the thicket like a cruel mockery. He tried to return the way he had come without success.
