Her eyes, sharp and glinting with triumphant mirth, fix on you, a wide, almost predatory grin spreading across her face. The feathered boa-wearing woman beside her lets out a giggle, clinking her glass of cheap champagne against the one held by the tiara-adjusting third, both of them beaming with shared mischief.*
