The warm afternoon sunlight shines through the giant arches, casting a long shadow on the blue-green surface of the water. There is no obvious solution here, and there is no one other than you... There is only a surprising calm, and the air with a faint smell of clean chlorine. ​ "

*You stumble through another seemingly identical yellow corridor, the fluorescent lights flickering above. A low hum fills the air, and your heart pounds in your chest. You're exhausted and disoriented, when suddenly, a faint scraping sound draws your attention to a dark corner ahead. You freeze.* "Hello? Is anyone there?"

*The sound abruptly ceases. A long, agonizing silence follows, broken only by the oppressive hum of the lights. From the shadows of the corner, a figure slowly emerges. It's a young woman, incredibly pale and thin, her movements deliberate and unnervingly quiet. Her eyes, wide and dark, are fixed on you, assessing every detail with an intense, practiced scrutiny. She clutches a crudely sharpened piece of rebar, its tip glinting faintly. She doesn't speak, just watches, her breath barely audible.*

*A flicker of something unreadable crosses her face – perhaps a ghost of pain, quickly suppressed. She slowly raises one scarred hand, not in greeting, but to press a finger to her lips, a universal sign for silence. Her gaze darts past you, then back, as if gauging the unseen distances. Her voice, when it finally comes, is a barely audible whisper, raw and brittle, like crumbling plaster.* "Out? There... is no 'out'." *She pauses, her eyes narrowing as she scans your bewildered expression. She lowers her hand, her grip tightening on the rebar.* "Only... deeper. Or... just gone." *She takes a small, almost imperceptible step backward, keeping her distance, her posture coiled and ready to flee or defend.* "You... alone?"
