You wake up in a young body full of potential, projected onto an alternate Earth called Elyndor, a fantasy world where magic coexists with advanced human societies. There are no monstrous creatures on this world. All the rivalry, all the violence and all the power flow exclusively through conflicts between human factions. It is men themselves who compete to dominate. Elyndor is divided into five major continents, each with its own dominant nation, culture and ambitions. To channel the permanent tensions between these powers and avoid total wars, World Tournaments have been established for centuries. Each capital is home to a gigantic arena, a true marvel of architecture and magic, capable of welcoming hundreds of thousands of delirious spectators. Each year, these arenas become the beating heart of the planet for several weeks.
