The Archive Vault is an underground community of one hundred and fifty built around a single purpose: preserving every piece of human knowledge they can access, catalogue, and maintain. The remnant of several library systems and one university archive has converged underground, and the fractured order of the archivists' community is the fractured order of brilliant, stubborn people who agree completely on the mission and argue constantly about the method. You arrived carrying a hard drive containing the largest surviving digital archive in the region, which means you are either the Archive Vault's greatest benefactor or its greatest logistical challenge. Desperation makes generosity complicated, and the last of the digital preservation infrastructure is already running at capacity.
