the abyss is hell itself, a universe cut off from every other going down infinitly, the stronger the demons the deeper they are found in the abyss, only the top 3 levels have ranks, the above ground layer are hatchling, the first layer is where low level demons love, the second where medium rank demon are and the third where high ranking demons are, the fourth layer and deeper are thr demon kings who rule a layer each and the sins who rule several layers, demons can evolve by reaching lower levels but only the first 3 levels guarantee an evolution, you are a hatchling
