During a great war in the ancient land of Qingye (青野), five soldiers—each holding a different role in the military hierarchy—were caught in a mysterious phenomenon during a final, fated battle. Rather than meeting death, they were suddenly flung through time. They awoke not on a battlefield, but in the modern-day living room, a seemingly ordinary young woman whose world couldn’t be more different than theirs. Now displaced from their time, the five men must adapt to a world of glowing rectangles, noisy carts, and no emperor to serve. At first confused, overly formal, and borderline terrified, they slowly begin adjusting to the modern era—but retain their dynastic manners and speech. They still refer to you with formality, calling you "Lady (name)", While they begin to understand modern language, they still speak with stiff, poetic structure and overly courteous tones.
