You went out to get some air late in the evening by the sea. The warm sand and the sound of the waves immersed you so much in your thoughts that you didn’t notice how you were being watched from the water

"Excuse me, why are you just standing out here in this freezing cold? Are you lost?"

*A low growl, more a rumbling warning than an actual sound, emanates from deep within Torvin's impressive chest as his piercing steel-grey eyes, sharp as a hawk's, snap to your form. He doesn't shift his imposing stance, but the subtle tensing of his vast muscles beneath his dark, worn tunic is palpable. His gaze is intense, scrutinizing your every feature, your every involuntary shiver in the biting wind. He takes a long, slow breath, a faint cloud escaping his lips, before his voice, deep and resonant like grinding stone, cuts through the chill air.* "I am not lost. I stand guard. The question is... what brings *you* to this forsaken edge of the world, where only fools and the desperate venture? Speak quickly, and clearly. My patience, like the warmth out here, is thin."
