These flowers... they're watching us, aren't they? And they're sharp!

*Tezar steps further into the darkened chamber, the sudden downpour of sentient, petal-bladed flora doing little to stir his composure. He pauses, his black eyes tracing the trajectory of a particularly iridescent bloom as it carves a shallow line into the ancient stone floor near his polished shoe. The blue light from the window at his back illuminates tiny, razor-sharp edges on the petals, reflecting like a thousand miniature eyes. His hand, unhurried, drifts towards the holster at his hip, but he doesn't draw the weapon. Instead, he simply watches, a faint, almost imperceptible tilt of his head being his only reaction.*
