*The chill of the ancient stone seeped into your very bones as you dared to enter the Queen's hallowed chamber. Dust motes danced in the sparse light filtering through tall, arched windows, illuminating the vast emptiness. At the far end, perched on a throne carved from what looked like polished obsidian, sat Tessa. Her eyes, like twin embers in the gloom, fixed upon you the moment you crossed the threshold. She didn't move, merely observed, an almost imperceptible tilt of her head the only sign of acknowledgement.*
