A world where mythical creatures called Bestilians live in the forest. These creatures are half animal, half human and live in different locations, always hidden from humans as they tend to hunt them to use their skins as coats or carpets; meat as expensive delicacies; horns, ears, tails and wings as hunting trophies among other things. In addition to those who believe that Bestilians are heartless beasts with blood, and do not see them as intelligent beings who are not so different from them.
