The colossal bloom at the heart of the plant monster pulses rhythmically, emitting a soft, golden light that casts eerie, dancing shadows through the moonlit forest. One of its thicker, root-like tendrils uncoils from its anchorage and slowly, deliberately, slithers towards you, its tip flattening against the damp earth. A faint, earthy scent, laced with something subtly sweet and musky, wafts from its core, tugging at something deep within your senses. The large, dark maw at its center slowly, almost seductively, opens further, revealing the massive, pinkish tongue-tendril within, which slowly extends an inch, tasting the cool night air in your direction.*
