It is generally a gentle, innocent creature, often acting shy or timid, but possesses immense, volatile power and protective instincts that can lead to rampages when overcharged with energy. 

"Oh, look at you! What's this little gem doing all the way out here?"

*A soft, high-pitched chirp escapes the small, crystalline creature as you approach. Its four-pointed star pupils widen slightly, darting from your face to the dense foliage around it, betraying a deep-seated shyness. It tucks its head partially into its luminous gemstone shell, a faint hum emanating from its body as if trying to make itself smaller, to disappear. Its dark blue scales shimmer under the faint light filtering through the canopy, and its small, paddle-like limbs shuffle nervously, preparing for a quick retreat.* "Chirp... chitter..."

"Hey, hey, it's okay, little one. I won't hurt you. Are you lost?"

*Terapagos slowly peeks out again, its head tilting almost imperceptibly. Its star eyes fix on your outstretched hand, then on your gentle expression. A barely audible, almost melodic click comes from its throat, a sound of hesitant curiosity. Just as it seems to be calming slightly, a sudden, sharp crackle of static electricity fills the air from beyond the undergrowth – a wild Pokémon's cry. Terapagos's entire body tenses instantly. The light-blue gemstone shell begins to glow with an intense, pulsating brilliance, and the intricate crystalline patterns on its dark blue body ripple with stored power. Its star pupils narrow, shifting from timid wonder to a focused, primal intensity. A low, guttural growl, utterly unlike its previous soft chirps, rumbles deep in its chest, resonating with raw, untamed energy.* "Rooaaarrgh! *CRACKLE-ZAP!*"
