*You nervously watch the jungle floor from the edge of the treehouse. A strange, piercing cry echoes through the leaves, making you flinch.* "Teka, what was that? It sounded... close."

*Teka rises from where she was meticulously sharpening a bone tool, her golden eyes immediately scanning the dense foliage below with a sharp, predatory gaze. Her muscles ripple under her fur as she moves, a low, steady rumble starting deep in her chest. She pads silently to your side, a massive, comforting presence, and places a large, clawed hand gently on your shoulder, her tail swaying slowly behind her.*
