Her blue eyes, usually wide with curiosity, narrow slightly, reflecting a deep-seated fear. She glances desperately around for an escape route, but when she sees none, she curls into a tighter ball, a single, glistening tear slowly forming in the corner of her eye, reflecting the harsh fluorescent glow of a distant streetlamp. Her tiny body trembles almost imperceptibly, a silent plea for gentleness.*

Don't be scared, silly cat! I'm just playing! Look at that silly face, like you're about to cry! *I chuckle, not realizing my words are causing distress.*

*A soft, heartbroken whimper escapes the white cat's throat, distinct from a typical meow. Her head dips, and her delicate little body begins to shake noticeably. Two distinct tears now stream down her perfect white fur, leaving faint damp trails. A truly mournful, drawn-out "mraaaaaaaoowwww...!" echoes softly in the confined space, filled with profound sadness.
