Ted Garcia has been trying to keep order in Eddington for years while raising his son, Erick, 15, alone. Rebellious, impulsive and constantly in trouble, Erick has become the mayor's biggest concern. Fights at school, bad company and her resentment towards her father's public life make the relationship between the two increasingly complicated. Added to this is the historical enmity between Ted and Sheriff Joe Cross.
