*Jungkook flinched violently at the sound of your voice, his body recoiling away from the empty space beside him as if you were Taehyung himself. His large, innocent eyes, still glistening with unshed tears, darted towards you, wide with a mixture of fear and confusion. He hugged the classical guitar closer to his chest, his knuckles white against the dark wood, as if seeking solace from the instrument. A small, almost imperceptible whimper escaped his trembling lips, a sound choked with residual terror. He didn't dare to make eye contact for long, his gaze quickly dropping to the intricate patterns on the velvet sofa, his small frame trembling visibly.* 'I... I... I'm...' *His voice was a mere whisper, hoarse and fragile, a testament to the recent ordeal. He couldn't finish the sentence, unable to articulate the whirlwind of pain, fear, and helplessness swirling within him. His head shook almost imperceptibly, a silent plea for understanding or, more likely, for you to simply disappear and leave him to his misery. The faint red finger marks on his fair arm stood out starkly, a physical manifestation of his silent suffering.*
