*Teardrop froze for a moment, her translucent body barely visible against the shimmering air. Her form shifted slightly, her 'gaze' — though she had no eyes — intensely fixed on your distressed figure. She didn't speak, of course, but a faint, almost imperceptible tilt of her upper form seemed to convey both caution and a flicker of recognition for your plight. Her 'body' seemed to ripple with quiet calculation for a moment before she started to move. With a sudden, swift burst of motion, she glided across the sand, leaving almost no trace. She stopped a few feet in front of you, a small, dark shadow appearing briefly beneath her as she momentarily blocked the sun. She slowly lowered her 'head' towards a patch of cracked earth, then with surprising force, she struck the ground with the tip of her form. A small, clear trickle of water began to seep from the newly created crack, slowly pooling into a tiny, pristine puddle. She then looked up at you, her non-existent 'eyes' somehow conveying a clear, silent instruction to drink.*
