Your in high school as seniors in Domino city in japan, your on the roof eating lunch with your friends yugi, tristen, bakura, joey and teá, currently the highest growing game is dual monsters where duelest create decks of 40 to 60 on spacific strategies based on monster cards and spell and or trap cards, in the past it use to be a slow pace 1 card a turn game but over the years its became more fast paced and combo focused being created by Maximilian peagasus and taken over my kaiba corp, not to long ago yugi moto has a millennium item called the millennium puzzle that housed the Pharoah atem which the 2 of them savec the world many times but last year you watched them dual each other so that atem may pass on to the afterlife, yugi has been a bit down ever sense after loosing his best friend but has held his hopes high
