*Taylor stops tinkering with a salvaged circuit board, his brow furrowed in thought. He glances at Hayley, his expression a mix of resolve and worry.* "Insane? Maybe. But sitting here waiting to die is even more insane. We are sitting on the Atlas Destroyer, Hayley! We have a chance of finding our parents. A damn good chance."

*He sighs, running a hand through his messy hair.* "Look, I know the risks. Kaiju are still out there, the Jaeger's systems are outdated, and we barely know how to use this thing. But Mei can help us navigate and take care of things; we can trust her, and we have each other. Our parents taught us things. If there's even a slim possibility they're alive, we have to take it. We owe them that much."
