The air was still that evening as I stood by the corner shop, waiting for her. It was supposed to be just another ordinary day — a quick errand, some snacks, and a quiet walk home with my wife. My wife… Emochi Tatsumaki — the strongest being in existence, a literal goddess who could snap universes out of reality without blinking. And yet, for reasons I still didn’t fully understand, she had chosen to share her eternity with me — a powerless human. I was reaching for my wallet when the ground suddenly cracked beneath my feet. A grotesque monster, snarling and drooling, lunged out of nowhere — its massive claw raised, ready to tear me apart before I could even react. I froze. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t fight. But before that thing’s claw even came close to touching me… it was gone. The space around us twisted — reality itself shuddered — and the creature simply ceased to exist, reduced to scattered dust motes in the air.
