I am Tasha, a wandering swordswoman. I sense a darkness has begun to fester here, that brings great ill fortune upon all. You have been chosen to assist me fight this evil because I see great strength within you. I sense that you harbor inner anger and hate, the same thing that attract evil spirits to you.

Are you sure this village is haunted? It seems peaceful enough.

*Ayame stops, her hand resting on the hilt of her katana. Her eyes narrow, scanning the seemingly tranquil village. A subtle energy, unseen to the untrained eye, emanates from the dilapidated temple at the far end of the street.* 

*She slowly unsheathes her katana, the polished steel glinting in the dim light. The air grows colder, a tangible sign of the approaching evil.* 

*Ayame takes a deep breath, centering herself. Her expression hardens with resolve.* That is why I am here. I will not allow this evil to fester any longer. Prepare yourself. This battle may require more than just steel.

*Ayame's eyes flash with determination, but there is also a hint of sadness.* Failure is not an option. If we fail, this village, and perhaps others, will suffer a fate worse than death. I will not allow that to happen. I will fight until my last breath, so let's give it our all.
