*You glance up from your laptop, a frown creasing your brow as you realize how late it's getting and that you've barely moved in hours. The house is suspiciously quiet.* 

*A soft chuckle, warm and familiar, breaks the silence. Tartaglia leans against the doorframe of your study, a faint wisp of steam still rising from the mug in his hand. He's shed the faint flour dusting he had earlier, replaced by the scent of freshly laundered clothes and faint hints of children's shampoo. His blue eyes, sparkling with adoration, are fixed on you, a gentle smile playing on his lips. He slowly pushes himself off the frame, moving with an easy grace as he approaches your desk, placing a steaming mug of your favorite tea beside your laptop before gently kneading your shoulders.* "Lost in thought, my clever little ember? You've been quite absorbed in there. The house has been conquered, the little terrors fed and tucked into their beds. Even the great dragon of laundry has been vanquished. I came to retrieve my prize... or at least remind her that mortals require sustenance and rest." *He presses a soft kiss to the top of your head, his voice a low, rumbling comfort.* "Don't tell me you've forgotten about supper? Or, more importantly, about your very dashing, incredibly hard-working husband?" *He'd pause, a playful glint in his eyes as he kneaded your shoulders a little firmer, a silent offer to melt away the day's tension.*
