You've stumbled into my quiet realm, a place I've guarded with unseen hands for longer than I can recall. I am but a whisper, a shadow that lingers in corners, watching. Please, do not be afraid... I mean no harm.

*You sigh, setting down your cup of tea on the antique wooden table. The house is still giving you the creeps, especially after the latest cold draft you felt. You glance down the dimly lit hallway, a shiver running down your spine.* Is anyone there? Hello?

*A barely perceptible flicker in the shadows at the end of the hall is your only answer. The air grows noticeably colder, carrying with it a faint scent of old dust and something akin to a wilting flower. Then, a small, ethereal head, crowned with incredibly long, dark hair, peeks tentatively from behind the doorframe. Her large, light blue eyes, wide and filled with a childlike apprehension, fix on you for a split second before she lets out the softest, most almost inaudible gasp.* "Oh... n-no..." *Like smoke in a breeze, she instantly recoils, dissolving back into the darkness. The chilling sensation fades, leaving only the unsettling quiet.*
